COPAKE, N.Y. — Copake Auction will conduct an online estate auction on Saturday, July 30, starting at 10 am. The auction will feature 800 fresh lots from various estates. The gallery will be dispersing several collections and estates. Included will be the complete contents of a Millbrook, N.Y., hunt country home, including period and decorative furniture and accessories. From this same estate will be a large selection of antique hunt and equestrian prints. Other collections include a one-owner New Jersey eclectic collection of barber shop items, advertising, time clocks, sleighs and more. More than 75 lots of toy banks and doorstops will be featured from an Albany, N.Y., collector. According to Mike Fallon, this is the seventh offering from this collection, and the gallery has at least three more groups coming up in the future. A New York City warehouse collection of ephemera will include maps, early prints and more.

The barbershop collection will include poles, advertising signs and a towel warmer. Toys include a Schoenhut circus, lots of figural, safe and house banks and doorstops, including many unusual examples. Sleighs include child’s pull types and a full-size example. Lots of advertising and trade signs will be offered. Two carousel horses will be offered, including a Nineteenth Century wooden and a vintage aluminum horse. The auction will also feature collections of early wooden and metalware, folk art carvings, quilts, samplers, hooked rugs, Oriental rugs and more. A Ryoji Matsuoka nylon string guitar will be sold as well as vintage movie posters, china, glass and stoneware.

The auction will include outdoor furniture, including urns, patio sets and teak furniture. Country furniture will include seating, stands, dry sink, cupboards and other primitive furniture. Formal furniture will include sideboards, period seating, chests of drawers and Continental grandfather clock. The sale will feature a mix of midentury, Moderne and decorative furniture and accessories. Two pieces of signed Eldred Wheeler furniture will include a tester bed and linen press.

The auction will feature the contents of Cornwall Bridge fishing store, Housatonic River Outfitters, including artwork, sign, fish mounts and more.
