WETHERSFIELD, CONN. — The Wethersfield Antiques Show returns to the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum on Friday, November 4, through Sunday, November 6. The museum’s Holcombe Education Center and historic Webb Barn will transform into an antiques shopper’s paradise, featuring an array of treasures from 22 regional dealers. An opening night preview party will be conducted on Friday, November 4, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The show continues Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, from 10 am to 4 pm. The Wethersfield Antiques Show serves as one of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum’s largest annual fundraisers.
“We are thrilled to once again host the Wethersfield Antiques Show,” said Joshua Campbell Torrance, executive director of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. “We received such an enthusiastic response from our dealers and the community last year. This year’s show will again feature beautiful artifacts, fine art, jewelry, furniture and so much more — offered by some of the region’s most knowledgeable, reputable dealers. Guests can experience a quality show in the historic town of Wethersfield and spend the day exploring our cultural assets, visiting our shops and dining at our restaurants.”
Dealers participating in the 2022 Wethersfield Antiques Show include Bayberry Antiques, Don Broderick/Tucker Frey, Eden Antiques, Martin J. Ferrick Antiques, Patricia Funt Antiques, Oliver Garland Antiques, Garvey Rita Antiques, Richard Lawrence Greene, Hanes & Ruskin Antiques, Sheridan Loyd Antiques, Mad River Antiques, John Hunt Marshall, New England Home Antiques, Dan and Karen Olson Antiques, Randi Ona Antiques, Art Pappas Antiques, Dennis Raleigh Antiques/Pumpkin Patch Antiques, W.M. Schwind Antiques and Paul and Karen Wendhiser Antiques.
Guests will experience the excitement of opening night and be the first to browse and purchase antiques and fine art. Join George Washington and enjoy live music from Connecticut guitarists Dave Giardina and Jacklyn Jones, as well as complimentary wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres. Preview party hours: 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Admission: Advance tickets: $65 per person. At the door: $75 per person. Preview party admission includes weekend passes to the show.
On Saturday, November 5, at 10 am, show visitors can enjoy a complimentary cup of Wethersfield’s own Drumroll Coffee Roasters coffee and mini donut (while supplies last) with paid admission. A food truck will be onsite during lunchtime hours. From 1 to 3 pm, there will be a beer tasting from a local brewery. General admission: $15 per person. Saturday hours: 10 am to 6 pm.
On Sunday, November 6, at 10 am, show visitors can enjoy a complimentary Bloody Mary and pastry (while supplies last) with paid admission. From 1 to 3 pm, Hartford Flavor Company will offer a tasting of handcrafted organic, botanical liqueurs. A food truck will be onsite during lunchtime tours. General admission: $15 per person. Sunday hours: 10 am to 4 pm.
