We are excited to announce the February 11th sale of selections from important collections across Ontario and Quebec. The sale will include stoneware, decoys, early folk art, outsider art, and heirloom furniture. We will be featuring works by Maud Lewis, Joseph Sleep, Joe Norris and Ewald Rentz, among others.
Featured is the ‘Centennial Man’ carving by Ewald Rentz. Rentz was an Ontario-based sculptor known for his ability to ‘coax the hidden forms out of the wood’, turning discarded materials into intricate carvings depicting people and animals. An impressive selection of Rentz works are offered as part of the February 11th sale.
