Nearly 300 lots including original photographs, photobooks, fine art, posters & graphic design, art books and Asian art. Featured in the photography section are works by the f/64 group and their followers, The New Topographics photographers, and others. Highlights of the photography section include signed works by Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans, Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Jerry Uelsmann, Peter Stackpole, Ruth Bernhard and several of the 20th century’s greatest photographers.
Highlights from the fine art section include original art for two unpublished “wordless novels” by Frans Masereel, a comprehensive collection of the work of Jean Charlot, a stunning painting by Zheng Chongbin, an original oil pastel painting by Gerda Wegener, and two variants of Goncharova and Larionov’s scarce L’Art Décoratif Théatral Moderne.
