DOVER, N.H. — Paul McInnis Auctioneer will conduct an online-only sale of Ted Valpey Jr’s eclectic Bay View Farm estate on August 21. Included is an unusual Moxie Mobile with an enclosed trailer. Moxie was a popular soft drink in the early Twentieth Century and was among the first mass-produced soft drinks in the United States. In 2005, it was designated Maine’s official soft drink.

Moxie had an aggressive marketing campaign, and its unique advertising tool was the Moxie Mobile. Additional items included in the auction are a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud four-door sedan and more than 500 lots of vintage vehicles, horse-drawn sleighs and wagons, marine items of all types, signs, a toy truck collection, silver, jewelry, antique furniture, Oriental rugs, paintings, statuary and sculpture, Oriental porcelain and jade lamps, Chinese rock crystal, furnishings, a selection of mirrors, clocks, farm tractors and much more.
