BRIMFIELD, MASS. — Brimfield Antique Shows will be wrapping up its Brimfield season September 6-10 at the firm’s flagship location in Brimfield with the Hertans and Weekend Warrior Shows, but the traveling version of the innovative antiques show hits the road this fall with three new shows in Pennsylvania and a new fall show in New Hampshire.

The popular Hertans field is sold out of vendor space for the September show. Like the days of old Brimfield, demand for space on Hertans was so high that the promoters added an extra row and there is still a lengthy waiting list.

New this time around is Frocks, Rocks and Peacocks, early shopping and preview party, which takes place Tuesday in the 40-by-80-foot hospitality tent on Hertans field. This early shopping event features 50 of Hertans favorite vendors showing a sampling of the types of items they sell in their booths in a relaxed, fun meet-and-greet atmosphere.

Tickets to enter are $10 and include a complimentary wine tasting by Hardwick Winery, snacks, live music, admission to Hertans opener on Wednesday at noon and a goodie bag. In July, this event was for vintage clothes and jewelry vendors only but was so successful that the event will include all categories of antiques for the fall show.

Other events at the September 6-10 show include a no-reserve auction on Thursday evening and the popular themed Friday evening vendor and shopper appreciation party. The party’s theme this time is Pajama Party and will feature the band the Valley Kats. Wear your favorite pajamas or come as you are. The party is free and open to everyone. Dinner is on a first-come, first-served basis until supplies run out. Finishing the week is the Weekend Warrior show, which takes place Saturday and Sunday, September 9 and 10. All events happen on Hertans field, 6 Mill Lane Road.

The fall show season continues in Hamburg, Penn., where the Brimfield Antique Shows Traveling Show will take over the well-known Hamburg Field House. More than 150 vendors will descend on the small Pennsylvania town to show their wares on September 30-October 1, October 28-29 and November 18-19. “Hamburg has been a very welcoming community to us, and the convenient location of the Hamburg Field house makes it ideal for a show. We are excited to be heading to Pennsylvania,” stated Klia Ververidis Crisafulli, Brimfield Antique Shows. The show will have 100 vendor spaces inside and more than 50 outdoor vendors spaces.

On October 14-15, Brimfield Antique Shows heads back to the Deerfield Fairgrounds in Deerfield, N.H., for Brimfield North, New Hampshire’s largest antiques show and flea market. The Brimfield North spring show is on Memorial Day Weekend, but this is the first year Brimfield Antique Shows will host a fall show at the fairgrounds. New Hampshire loves antiques, and this show will feature more than 300 indoor and outdoor vendor spaces. Typical attendance at the New Hampshire show is 8,000-10,000 attendees, making it one of the largest antiques shows in New England, only behind the Brimfield show.
