KINGSTON, N.Y. — On Friday, October 13, JMW Auction Service will conduct an ephemera and art auction. The sale will feature inventory from a retired Westchester County, N.Y., ephemera dealer, 40,000 postcards from a retired postcard show dealer, 10,000 stereoviews from a New York City collector, more than 500 paintings and prints from the Hudson, N.Y., estate of Albert Burnette Roberts, to be sold in large lots.
There will be selected material from estates throughout the Hudson Valley to New York City. The sale will have material pertaining to historical, political, advertising, posters, comic books, children’s books, books, magazines, Chinese cultural revolution, cameras, photographs, sports, manuscripts, documents, autographs, hoard of Eighteenth Century manuscripts and documents from a Hurley, N.Y., family, including slave documents, mutoscope cards, erotica, maps, holiday items and more.
