ROLAND AUCTIONS NY proudly presents the final auction of historical prints and other artwork from Manhattan’s legendary Phyllis Lucas Gallery (AKA the Old Print Center) on Saturday, November 4th 2023 at 11am
All the prints are from the actual archives of the famed gallery, which was at the forefront of the Manhattan art world for decades, dating back to 1928. In the mid-1960’s, building on their collaboration with Salvador Dali, the Phyllis Lucas Gallery becoming the first North American publisher of his lithographs and published 26 editions of his images, including the extraordinary Lucas Collection of Dali Originals, published between 1965 and 1974. Now you can take a glance inside the storied New York art world from all those years.
