PELHAM, N.H. — Legare Auctions has more than 150 vintage and antique pocket watches in an online-only, timed auction on Auction Ninja that starts to close on Thursday, March 7, at 7 pm.

“This a one-person collection amassed over several decades,” said auctioneer Legare. “There are some really nice pocket watches by prominent makers, including Waltham, Elgin, Howard and more. Most are high jewel and there are some solid gold examples in our current sale, Also included are three 14K gold watch chains, a lot of watch hutches, a large selection of watch parts, several ships’ clocks and miscellaneous clocks.

“With such a large curated collection, it is hard to pick out the highlights. In that category would have to be a 14K gold Elgin doctor’s watch and a 14K gold Waltham Vanguard,” added Legare. “I would also say the circa 1904 Illinois Bunn Special and the circa 1914 Howard are among the many standouts.”
