BEVERLY, MASS. — Kaminski Auctions will present an estates auction on March 16-17. This auction promises a selection of jewelry, silver pieces, vintage watches, fine art and elegant furnishings sourced from estates in Palm Desert, Calif., Palm Beach, Fla., and multiple New England estates. 

Highlighting the auction are jewelry pieces from a prominent Boston estate. This collection is a must-see for Mother’s Day gifts in May. Discerning collectors can bid on an assortment of jewelry showcasing craftsmanship and timeless elegance. Among the highlights of the jewelry collection is a lady’s diamond ring with two center stones: a 14K white gold ring adorned with two center stones weighing 0.85 carats and 0.80 carats, respectively. A Kunzite and diamond ring also features an 8-9-carat kunzite stone accented by diamonds.

There is a large selection of ladies earrings, including Art Deco-style earrings crafted in jade, diamonds and black enamel, with a striking design. A pair of lady’s ruby, Mabe pearl and marquise diamond earrings are heart-shaped and 18K gold. There is also a pair of emerald, diamond and pearl earrings adorned with vibrant emeralds, sparkling diamonds and lustrous pearls. There is a pearl double-strand necklace with 8mm pearls with an 18K gold clasp with sapphires and a crafted ruby, sapphire and diamond bracelet in 18K gold.

Enthusiasts of fine art and furnishings will not be disappointed, as the auction also features paintings and elegant furnishings from a distinguished Southern Connecticut estate and various New England estates.

One of the notable highlights of the auction is a captivating abstract painting reminiscent of the iconic style of Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). This dynamic piece portrays a figure at a desk, showcasing the artist’s unique interpretation of form and space.

Art collectors will also have the chance to acquire a landscape by Franz Richard Unterberger (Austrian, 1838-1902), offering a picturesque view over the Bay of Naples. The auction further presents landscapes and seascapes by artists such as Edward Mitchell Bannister (1828-1901) and Edward Moran (1829-1901). Additionally, the auction will feature works by A. Thieme, William Langson Lathrop (1859-1938) and Clarence Millet (1897-1959), each offering a unique perspective on the beauty of the natural world. Among the furniture highlights are an Eighteenth/Nineteenth Century English burled wood cabinet, a Maitland-Smith inlaid pier table that adds sophistication to any interior space and a rare find for collectors of Tiffany Studios furniture, a mahogany chair #17 that bears the iconic signature of the renowned American design firm. 

Highlighted among the Asian items are a Sixteenth/Seventeenth Century Japanese imperial glazed palace-size jardiniere. This jardiniere, adorned with intricate depictions of cranes, lions and bamboo trees, exemplifies Japanese imperial ceramics’ exquisite craftsmanship and artistic sophistication. There is also a pair of late Nineteenth Century Chinese Court Ladies. Crafted in the late Nineteenth Century, they are a testament to the refined aesthetics of Chinese porcelain figurines. A pair of Chinese temple urns from the Chinese Republic period are on offer, with classic form and intricate detailing. 

In addition to the Asian treasures, the auction also features a diverse selection of antiques, including Nineteenth Century fraternal, athletic and competition medals. These gold and silver medals offer a fascinating glimpse into the history of fraternal organizations and athletic competitions.

There is an antique mahogany London tall clock by Edward Maud, a Tiffany & Co. sterling pedestal centerpiece adorned with intricate bird design handles; this sterling silver centerpiece by Tiffany & Co. is a striking addition to any table setting. Its elegant silhouette and exquisite detailing reflect the renowned craftsmanship synonymous with the Tiffany brand.
