PORTSMOUTH, N.H. — Centennial Auctions of North Conway, N.H., will be conducting its next live numismatic auction on April 23 at the Holiday Inn in Portsmouth. Centennial is a subsidiary of Scofield Auctions, established in 1981 and specializing in the sale of coins and stamps.

This auction includes a complete (15) coin set of Indian $2.50, all graded MS-64 by PCGS or NGC, with the rare 1911D. A significant Civil War 1861 $20 inscribed “Don Ross, 13th Regt. Co. F” will be offered. Ross was a fourth lieutenant. The regiment was out of Marlborough, Mass., and fought at Bull Run, Antietam, Chancellorsville and Gettysburg.

Other highlights are classic gold and commemoratives, obsolete type, Canada and World, 90 percent, 1940 Proof Set, exonumia and currency.
