KINGSTON, N.Y. — On Friday, June 28, JMW Auction Service will sell 300 lots from estates throughout the Hudson Valley to New York City. The sale will include furniture, fine art and decorative accessories.
Furniture will include an LJ&G Stickley sideboard, LJ&G Stickley dining table, (four) LJ&G Stickley chairs, Empire sideboard and dressers, oak dining room tables, chairs and dressers, Nineteenth Century corner cupboard, (six) primitive pine cupboards, work tables, midcentury travertine base coffee table, (six) barrister bookcases and a selection of bookcases, storage chests, stands, chests and more.
Artwork will include 25 oil paintings from an estate in Chester, N.Y., and others from estates in Kingston and Woodstock. The sale will also include estate jewelry, sterling silver, lighting, collection of Stangl, more than 150 pieces of ceramics made by Barbara Spear Scully, who was a designer for the Muppets. Lighting includes four Arts and Crafts brass wall sconces, garden furniture and accessories and more.
The preview will be Thursday, June 27, from noon to 6 pm.
