Tiffany Sterling Silver Flatware set made for former Governor Alvin T Fuller in 1908, a special pattern consisting of a 19-piece place setting and serving items for a total of 330 pieces weighing 436 troy ounces and offering another Tiffany Hampton pattern flatware set with a 13-piece place setting, 274 pieces, and 444 troy ounces, several other sterling silver lots.
2. Honore Pellegrin Ship Watercolor, watercolor on paper, Barque “Mary H. Vose” of Boston leaving Marseilles 1852, Captain William Savage, artist signed lower right, multiple labels on reverse, Original carved frame. Collection of S. Morton Vose II; Fogg Art Museum loan; Harvard Class of 1931, 25th Reunion Exhibition; and artist label H. Pellegrin.
3. Civil War items, some belonging to Captain Charles Storrow of Company F, 44th Massachusetts Regiment.
4. Edmund Tarbell oil on canvas portrait of Oscar Leighton at 99 years of age who lived his entire life at the Isles of Shoals off the New Hampshire coast.
5. Oval oil on board primitive portrait of Mary Hubbard Sherman Lansing in a white dress with roses.
6. Rare Galle’ Pottery vase, Art Nouveau motif, signed Emile Galle’ Faiencerie de Nancy.
7. Incised and multi-colored S.E.G Pottery pitcher artist signed. Descending in the Storrow family of Boston who encouraged the development of the Saturday Evening Girl Pottery, which later became known as Paul Revere Pottery.
8. Two Civil War uniforms belonging to Captain Charles Storrow of Company F, 44th Massachusetts Regiment.
9. General William Sherman signed Cabinet Card, twice signed Cabinet Card, signed on the front WT. Sherman, General, 1888, on the reverse, signed “To Helen Williams of Providence, RI with the love of WT. Sherman, General, New York, December 29, 1888”.
10. Civil War Officer’s sword inscribed “Major General Alexander Hamilton 1861-1864”, having served in the Civil War, and was the oldest grandson of Alexander Hamilton.
11. Paul Revere silver spoon monogrammed “D” descending in the Daniel Denny Family of Boston, MA.
12. Leather fire bucket, “A.Davis, 1803”, possibly Durham or Newington, NH.
13. C.E.V. Tournemine, Desert Elephants, oil on panel, signed lower right. Provenance: Seth M. Vose III Estate.
14. 19th Century Chinese Port painting, oil on board, “View in Typa on Christmas, 1866, Victoria and Niemen”, Vose Gallery Collection of S.M. and R.D. Vose.
15. Primitive painting, oil on canvas, Country Scene with Train, in the style of Rufus Porter, no signature noted.
