Buzz Hesse – Part IV, Important Artifacts And Antiques & Fine Arts Unreserved Auction

SIDNEY, N.Y. — The fourth and final auction of the vast collection of antiques and artifacts from the estate of D. Constantine Zariphes II of Rocky Hill, Conn., will be sold February 15 by Hesse Auctions.

Many buyers at the first three sessions have commented on the quality and diversity of the Zariphes collection. Buzz Hesse said he has been privileged and proud to have provided auction services to the Zariphes estate and to the buying public for the dispersal of this extensive lifetime collection.

The unreserved auction, Zariphes Part IV, will continue to reflect the diversity of the collection. On offer in Part IV will be more pieces of early American antique furniture and accessories; historic and prehistoric Native American art and artifacts; African art carvings; numerous marine and landscape paintings and prints, including a Buffalo Bill poster; a large quantity of Eighteenth Century wrought iron hardware; a large collection of knives; both early American and Native baskets and weapons; and much more.

The auction’s start time is 10 am at the Sidney American Legion Hall, 22 Union Street.

A fully illustrated printed color catalog is available by mail for $20 postpaid or at the auction for $15. Call Buzz Hesse at 607-287-5320 to request a catalog or to arrange absentee bidding. Bidding may only be done in person or by prearranged absentee bid; there is no internet bidding.
