This sale features an important signed American French & Indian War powder horn owned by John Trowbridge Cape Breton July 26, 1758, made & signed by fellow soldier William Holden. This sale also features an extremely rare half plate 1852 dagueneotype of four ‘49er gold miners at their sluice box, an 1800 Jolm Adams twice signed Revolutionary War bounty land grant, 1891 “A Sketch of the Life of John Brown” twice inscribed by Susan B Anthony to her brother Merritt, who fought in battle against slavery in Kansas alongside Jolm Brown, and a 1967 Martin Luther King, Jr typed letter signed.
