Gaudreaus Auction Company has been consigned to sell the partial contents of a farmstead in North Woodstock, CT and yet another farmstead from Lebenon, CT that we have put together and will prove to be a great old fashioned, country style auction. Due to the time of year we were forced to move these items from where they have been for many years, to our heated, comfortable facility for all to enjoy. Be sure to go to auctionzip.com and key in auctioneer Id# 14151 to surf a huge photo gallery, listing and constant updates.
We have not had so many 18th and 19th century period items in many years. We will be selling many paper items as well as antiques, photos, letters and other personal effects from Mr. Wm. Sprague of Lebenon who was a colorful gentleman that went from a sales person, selling anything from ailment aids to “Ayers sarsaparilla” and later becoming a CT Senator in 1889 – 1890, Capital Marshall, and later a IRS collector agent. Many great history related items from Ayers, Sprague and Lathrop will be available.
If you like early American furniture, we have several pieces to choose from. Candle stands, blanket chests, dressers, tables, chairs, a great jelly cupboard, wonderful chairs and more.
15% buyers premium / Cash, Known checks, Visa MasterCard, Discover and PayPal.
No reserved or minimum bids / Light food and drink available / All sales final
