Under the leadership of Asian Specialists James Callahan, Tremont Auctions has been favored with the privilege to represent Estates & Collections from a Newport, RI, a downsizing Connecticut collector and items gleaned from across the United States and Canada for our Annual Spring Auction.
Large collections of Chinese ceramics including a monumental temple vase with pate-sur-pate pagoda decoration descending through the family of American Banker and Philanthropist Morris Ketchum Jessup, who was president of the American Museum of Natural History, N.Y.C. The vase was originally from his Lenox, Mass mansion Belvoir Terrace. Other items include gilt Buddha bronzes, Works of Art, Textiles, Works on Paper, Porcelain and over 100 carved Jade objects, along with much more. APPROXIMATELY 600 LOTS TO BE SOLD
