The collections of 3 prominent families are the focus of this year’s Annual Spring Antique Silver, Bronze & Art Auction at Golden Gavel Auctions.
We are proud to offer the amazing, monumental collection of Claire Labine. She was co-creator, executive producer and head writer of daytime TV’s Emmy award-winning “Ryan’s Hope” Some of the many career credits of Claire Labine include “Captain Kangaroo”, “Where the Heart Is”, “Love of Life”, “General Hospital”, “One Life to Live”, “Guiding Light”. She won a total of 9 Emmys and 12 nominations.
The second impressive collection is from a family in Farmington, CT. Well-known antique dealers from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, their many important collections of custom mahogany furniture, antique art, antique lamps, antique glass & silver are highly sought after.
Topping this auction is a beautiful collection of Mission Oak furniture and a wonderful antique lamps collection from a family in Stockbridge, MA.

Golden Gavel Auctions is proud to offer the amazing, monumental works of friends and artists Jim Dine and Ken Price. Some pieces of Jim Dine include the painting titled “Chinese Portrait” and the bronze titled “Swoon” numbered 5 of 6! Several of Ken Price’s works are very special including “Volcanic Dust”, “Smoke Stacks”, “Lizard Cup” color trial proof, and other special editions. There are many notable bronzes and paintings by William Gale, C. Potter, Mancini, Floyd Dwitt, Billy Bengston, William B. Green, George Grinnell, Eduardo Forlenza, T. Bailey and other listed artists. A large collection of Sterling Silver and European Silver is being offered in this special auction. Items including beautiful tea sets, large platters, large heavy serving pieces, fl atware, and pieces by makers like Tiffany, Georg Jenson, Gorham, S. Kirk, Maciel, Cartier and Poole to name just some of the gifted makers. The impressive furniture lineup will comprise of some of the best Mission Oak pieces by names like Gustav Stickley, Limbert, LGJ Stickley, Quaint, Quaker and other important makers. The lamps and collectibles from the estates represented are truly impressive. Lamps from makers like Daum Nancy, Tiffany, Pairpoint (puffy), Bradley and Hubbard, to name a few.
