Fine Estate Items & Asian Antiques & Antique Toys with related Material
Featuring Fine Art, Oriental Rugs, Estate Jewelry, Historical items, Antiques, a selection of toys from a local collection. Asian Art & Antiques from several estates and much more. Many items are fresh to the market from a Beverly Hills, CA. estate including 16 Oriental rugs with some fine antique pictorial examples. Also from the Beverly Hills estate is a nice assortment of fine jewelry highlighted by a Victorian Diamond brooch with 78 diamonds totaling approximately 4.5 Carats.
Art features two carved Rosewood figures by Jacques Adnet, Paris circa-1928 and a Charles Levier painting in the same family since its original purchase. Also from CA. is a rare presentation Cane gifted to Andrew Jackson by Fath-Ali Shah Qajar, the 2nd Shah of Persia with family provenance. Other items of historical interest are a rare silk 38 Star US/GAR parade flag in five colors and an Orotone of Zane Grey by Edward S. Curtis.
With over 100 lots of good toys are a notable example of a boxed Lehmann Man-Da-Rin in exceptional condition, a large selection of auto & truck toys and more. In the same section of the sale is a fine Clamshell Mutoscope, a rare and unusual Country Store Case and a five-color porcelain sign from Foster’s Freeze, found in a Los Angeles home.
Asian antiques in this sale are more moderately priced than our specialty sales but still have a fine selection of quality items including Ming and other porcelain vases, good Jade pieces, snuff bottles in various materials, Cinnabar items, Paintings, Calligraphy and more.
