Original fixtures from Saratoga Springs’ famous “Riley’s” Lake House & Casino to incl: bold “Riley’s” neon sign, 100’+ classic Art Deco railings used to divide dining/ bar/entertainment areas; bar stools & chairs, podium, Art Deco dressing room mirror, 5 cast Art Deco sunrise panels from Riley’s entrance façade, neat “spy hole” window to observe cheaters in gambling area, pair RCA speakers & stage lights, et al including original Riley’s poker chips, & ephemera.
Finest example extant? Fascinating 21’6” Stroebridge lithographed “Chronological Chart of Ancient, Modern, & Biblical History” through 1876 by Sebastian C. Adams, Salem Oregon. Close to mint! In original 34” x 43” walnut deep shadow box frame complete w/roller mechanism to advance & retract the 21’6” chart.
1870 English (L. Brall & Sons) “Grand Stand Goodwood” Jockey Club Print (26” x 35”). MORE RACING PRINTS incl large folio 1889 “The Futurity Race at Sheepshead Bay” by Currier & Ives; 2 different 1853 images of “The Cambridceshire Stakes” by John Moore, London; Plates 1-4 complete 1839 “The First Steeple-Chace on Record” publ by Ben.
