The Hoopers were an important philanthropic family with the Hooper Institute located across the street dedicated to Dr. Frederick Hooper, brother of George, and the Hooper golf course and mansion which was sold to fund the institute. Several historic pieces and medical books belonging to Dr. Frederick Hooper included in this sale. A collection of china, good silver, Native American pcs, and African masks will be offered from a Marblehead & Dedham MA estate as well.
