auto parts, and automobilia from the estate of
Thom Bixby of Easthampton, MA
Thom Bixby was a well-known, lifelong collector of Hudson automobiles and of memorabilia related to the Hudson Motor Car Company–he called himself a “Hudson fanatic.”
Bixby was a member of the New England chapter of the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club and his estate includes numerous Hudsons (mostly 1946-1951) in various stages of restoration, advertising signs and other items, original automotive parts, engines, and new-old-stock (NOS) restoration parts. Other vehicles and automobilia will also be included in this sale.
This auction provides a rare opportunity to bid on distinctive Hudson vehicles and memorability from a collection that a man spent a lifetime building, most of which have not been on the market for more than 30 years.
