This will be the most diversified and interesting sale that we have held in many years.
Articles include: American Chippendale highboy, French marquetry furniture, Set of 34 dining chairs (formerly property of John Nicholas Brown), Boulart lamps, sconces, salon ensembles, mirrors, settees, Mahogany bookcases and china cabinets. Decoys by Joseph Lincoln, Wildfowler, Nelson Faulk, Chesapeake Bay carvers, three Canada Geese (one “hissing”) several very old shorebirds.
Artists represented: Henry Born (10), Anna Richards Brewster (3), William T. Richards (5 drawings, 1 “coupon”), the almost complete oeuvre of Jose Fabri-Canti (30), Collette Pope Heldner, Wm. H. Hyde, John C. Terelak, Marcel Vertes (5), Chas. King Wood, and many others. Prints by McCray, Stobart and Wait. Eight pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage, quantity of Lalique including chandelier, Baccarat, Hermes and Gucci scarves. Silver by Manchester, Gorham, Tiffany. Several museum quality Caucasian rugs.
