Connecticut River Book Auction will hold its next sale
as an ABSENTEE BID AUCTION
on Friday, June 26th, 2020
at the South Congregational Church located at
949 Main Street in South Glastonbury, CT 06073.
Books may be inspected at that location on
Thursday, June 25th from 1 pm to 4 pm
and again on Friday, June 26th from 9 am to 3:15 pm
when bidding will close.
The auction consists of 200 plus lots of art, signed fiction, Folio Society, history, ephemera, children’s literature and Books about Books. Visit www.ctriverbookauction.com to download the listing of the lots to be offered.
Of Note: This auction continues to include includes a number of volumes of bibliography from the library of noted book collector and dealer Barbara Farnsworth. In addition, we will auction three scarce children’s toys: 1. A Parker Brothers 1921 “Wizard of Oz game in its original box with all contents present. 2. A 1922 complete eleven piece “Bookie – Blox wooden book set and 3. An 1847 “Wickham’s Builders’ Block set.”
Just Added: An 1835 Map of Boston by Captain John Bonner titled, “The Town of Boston in New England by Capt. John Bonner, 1722, Aetatis Suae 60.” It is nicely cased in a custom oak frame.
