Flying Pig Auctions is pleased to present the Estate of Jeanne & Anthony Rodrigues of Warren, RI at UNRESERVED Online Auction.
 This collection is the culmination of a lifetime of searching the New England area for the finest antiques. Anthony and Jeanne were married in 1969, and began collecting antiques together as newlyweds. Over time, as their tastes became more refined, they focused on early Americana. And now, after being the caretakers of this wonderful collection for over 40 years, the time has come to share their beloved antiques for other collectors to enjoy. Their modest home was filled with painted cupboards & blankets chests plus work stands & tavern tables that were decorated with all manner of antiques such as Jeanne’s favorite obsession – a vast collection of pantry boxes incl Shaker & other variations of paint decorated in oval & round forms plus early lighting; redware, stoneware & toleware; gameboards; treen incl plates, bowls & utensils; carvings; toys; etc.
And the walls were full too! Paintings and samplers as well as mounted hooked rugs, etc. The Rodrigueses’ collection is the nucleus of this fine sale and is complimented by a few smaller New England estates featuring cast iron toys; early glassware; paintings; weathervanes; a very interesting collection of Anna Lee dolls; a life size mid-century store display Santa from an old Greenfield, MA department store and so much more!
