SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. — Debbie Turi of D. Turi Antiques Shows will present the 4th of July tradition that has been running for 28 years, Antiques & Artisans in the Church Yard, at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church in South Salem. Conveniently located in Westchester County, it is just over the border of Connecticut. Its closest Connecticut neighbor being New Canaan and other nearby Fairfield County towns. The Church Yard is a perfect setting for this event, conveniently situated off Route 35, with easy access at exit 6 off Interstate 684.
This show has a longstanding tradition of clientele returning year after year for its wide selection of antiques, furniture, art, jewelry, folk art pottery and more.
Featured among the antiques dealers will be well-known folk art dealer Francis Crespo of Lancaster, Penn. He always brings fresh pieces to the show. Lara Joyce Antiques, as always, will have an eclectic mix of American and European antiques.
Along with antiques, the show will feature a group of skilled artisans. Returning this year will be Lorraine Rossell of Gigi’s Attic featuring pillows and gifts made with vintage textiles.
Sadly, the event is unable to offer the traditional pancake breakfast this year; however, there will be food trucks available for everyone to take a break and refresh over a snack or lunch.
The show will take place from 9 am to 4 pm on the grounds of Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church, 8 Shady Lane. Tickets are $8. This event is Covid-compliant. Masks and social distancing are required. This is a rain or shine event. No dogs, please.
