Saturday, Nov. 13, 10 am – 6 pm
Sunday, Nov. 14, 10 am – 4 pm
WETHERSFIELD, CONN. — The Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum is the new home for the Wethersfield Antiques Show. Originally created as a benefit for Trinity Church in the 1960s, the Wethersfield Antiques Show was operated by the Wethersfield Historical Society through 2016. The 2021 show will be conducted at Webb-Deane-Stevens’ newly constructed Holcombe Education Center and the historic Webb Barn. Guests will be able to hunt for treasures from 20 New England antiques dealers. An opening night preview party will be conducted on Friday, November 12, 5:30 to 8:30 pm. The show continues Saturday, November 13, 10 am to 6 pm, and Sunday, November 14, 10 am to 4 pm.
“We are thrilled to be the new home for the Wethersfield Antiques Show,” said Joshua Campbell Torrance, executive director of the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. “Old Wethersfield is one of Connecticut’s oldest and largest historic districts, making it the perfect location for this event. The show will feature beautiful artifacts, fine art, rare books and so much more — all offered by some of the region’s most knowledgeable, reputable dealers. Most importantly, it will help us raise essential funds for Webb-Deane-Stevens’ education programs.”
Dealers participating in the 2021 Wethersfield Antiques Show include Paul DiFanti Antiques, Bayberry Antiques, Broderick Antiques, DeWolfe and Wood, Eden Antiques, Martin J. Ferrick Antiques, Roberto Freitas American Antiques & Decorative Arts, Patricia Funt Antiques, Richard Lawrence Greene, John Hunt Marshall, Hanes & Ruskin Antiques, Donna Kmetz Fine Art, Knollwood Antiques, P.D. Murphy Antiques, New England Home Antiques, Art Pappas Antiques, Garvey Rita Art & Antiques, W.M. Schwind Antiques, David Thompson Antiques and Art, Paul & Karen Wendhiser and White & White Antiques.
Guests at the preview party will experience the excitement of opening night and be the first to browse and buy antiques and fine art. Join George Washington and enjoy live music, wine, local beer and hors d’oeuvres. Preview party admission is advance tickets: $65 per person; at the door: $75 per person.
