BROOKLYN, CONN. — Located amid the rolling hills of rural Brooklyn, Conn., the famous Golden Lamb Buttery served countless celebrities and locals at the heart of a sprawling family-owned farm for 55 years. The restaurant was featured in dozens of reputable publications with glowing reviews — until closing down.
Items gathered by more than five generations of the family owners will be sold over four weekends at an estate sale. Items include antiques, furniture, photos, kitchen equipment and supplies, rugs, artwork and much more. Sale dates are November 4-7, November 11-14, December 2-5 and December 9-12 from 9 am to 3 pm.
The onsite estate sale will be supervised by Brokers Unlimited, based in Providence, R.I.

Brokers Unlimited, Inc., was established in 1948, initially as a scrap brokerage firm, but over time it expanded into other fields. Today, the firm focuses on eight areas of business: auctions, liquidations, estate sales, appraisals, office supplies, new and used furniture, corporate gifts and business forms. Owner, president and chief executive officer Theodore Loebenberg became a licensed auctioneer in 1963.
