Translation: “According to the order of his excellency Najaf-Qoli Khan Samsam al-Saltane, woven by the Bakhtiari, 1321 (ca. 1913).”
Note: Najaf-Qoli Khan Sam sam al-Saltane (1846-1930) was elected as the 11th Prime Minister of Iran for two terms, first in 1909 and again in 1912.
