Wright was a renowned Pennsylvania Dutch decorator, his collection includes hand drawings, paintings, design logs, books, correspondences and several design templates in his own hand. There is also a signed letter from J. Edgar Hoover to Herman E Wright regarding Crime on Youth in America, as Herman E. Wright was also a local scoutmaster.
