ROXBURY, CONN. — East Wing Estate Sales & Auction Co. is presenting a two-day online auction showcasing a monumental 850-plus-lot collection that spans more than 75 years of passionate collecting by two generations. This sale, taking place live online on April 20 and 21, starting at 9 am each day, features a broad spectrum of items, including antiques, primitives, furnishings, sterling silver, jewelry, rare coins, stoneware crocks, early American pieces and a vintage Yamaha motorcycle.
Being offered for sale in this auction is an early career drawing by the artist Ed Clark, who was a pioneering American artist, known for his contributions to the Abstract Expressionist movement. Having passed away in 2019, Ed Clark’s work has only more recently received the widespread recognition it deserves. The drawing is estimated at $25/35,000; however, it is expected to surpass that estimate during the live sale.
