In March of 1964 John Grillo began a printmaking fellowship at the Tamarind Lithography
Workshop in Los Angeles. In between press runs, Grillo would experiment with ideas, inks, paint, tools and more to create these paintings. These experimental works were stored by the artist for over 50 years and are presented for the first time in this exhibit.
