Note: Dr. Lillian and her husband Dr. Harry Feldman lived in this home since the 1940s. They furnished it with Mid-Century Designer Furnishings at the time that they were new and cutting edge! The Feldman’s kept purchasing Original Artwork to fill all the nooks & crannies in the years following! We have uncov-ered many original receipts from the Herman Miller Furniture Company”, and others, making delivery to this address as early as 1948! They had a great love for Danish Modern Furniture and Decorations! From the Carpets to the Furniture, to the Sculptures and the Light Fixtures to the Artwork, the theme that runs through this house is IDENTIFIABLE DESIGN AND ART!! Dr. Harry Feldman was a distinguished researcher. He counted among his close friends Dr Albert Sabin (developed the oral Polio Vaccine) and Albert Shanker (American Federation of Teachers fame). Dr. Lillian Feldman was distinguished for her important work with the education of Children and philanthropy. They each had a keen eye for mid-century design and Studio Pottery! This connoisseur ability is evi-denced in the items which they surrounded themselves with and which we will be selling including the McIntosh pottery bowl and other spectacular Studio Pottery pieces to the Noguchi Coffee Table to the Wormley Furniture to the Cherner Chairs to the Zuniga Print to the Kurt Ostervig Tambor Door Bar Cabinet to the Magnificent true Tribal Artwork…
