We are pleased to have been commissioned to sell the 50+ year collections of antique in Insurance Signs & related and antique Firefighting memorabilia as collected by Mr Lewis L. Wilson of Cobleskill NY. All to be sold in 1 day with nothing withheld and as always an absolute auction without reserves. Mr Wilson’s career spanned 60 years as a very successful insurance agent and included serving as president of “The Professional Insurance Agents of New York.” Anyone having visited his offices in Cobleskill would long remember his Insurance & Firefighting collections which literally covered about every square inch of wall space in every room. Having recently retired, selling both his agency and his buildings – his collections come to market.
NOTE: beginning 3 pm we will sell a QUANTITY of modern Firefighting collectibles as well as over 100 modern Insurance Company signs & related.
