On Friday, we will present a selection of early advertising and merchandising display pieces. There will be a group of fine Native American artifacts, including beadwork, pottery and jewelry. We will feature outstanding collections of antique cast iron mechanical and still banks; rare medical and scientific equipment; and early typewriters and office machines. Friday will also offer a fine selection of firearms and militaria, custom designed pool cues, and a large collection of Swarovski crystal figures. On Saturday, artwork by Thomas Buttersworth, William Trost Richards, Carl Lawless, William Howard Yorke, Colin Campbell Cooper, Elisha Taylor Baker, and Arthur Thompson Bricher will be featured. There will be a pair of sculptures depicting Atlas bearing the globe and heavens, a bronze garden sculpture by Ferdinando DeLuca, and a selection of religious carvings. Folk art, such as a 19th c. carved cigar store Indian, a life-size Viking warrior ship’s figurehead, and anvil form blacksmith trade sign will be offered, along with a collection of Asian antiques, led by a pair of Chinese cloisonné double gourd vases. Two rare Bibles, including the 1640 King James Barker printing and a 1776 PA Dutch “Gun-Wad” Bible, plus rare books and documents will be sold. Finally, there will be outstanding antique furniture, marine items, Russian icons, and antiquities.
