A Magnificent art cased marquetry grand piano inscribed Jansen / Paris after a model by Joseph Emanuel Zwiener (1848-1895), decorated with foliage, swords, flags, ribbons and Latin mottos inspired by the Louis XV “Bureau du Roi” at the Palace of Versailles, the case further lavishly accented with gilt bronze ormolu, at ributed as the work of Leon Message (1842-1901) a collaborator of Francois Linke (1855-1946) and Zwiener, featuring foliate leaves, wreathes, ribbons and musical instruments, the cabriole supports ending in scrolled feet, a lyre form foot pedal with protruding mask, the 1913 piano movement by Steinway.
