This auction features an array of high end “O” scale model trains. Makers such as M.T.H., 3rd Rail, K-Line, Williams, Lionel, Weaver, Sunset along with others are represented. Over 10 die cast models along with brass models will be featured. Passenger sets, with names such “Flying Yankee”, “Hiawatha”, “Blue Comet”, and “The Minute Man” will be offered. This auction will have a very diverse selection with well over 60 steam and over 50 electric and diesle electric locomotives varying from makers like ALCO, LIMA, MIKADO, BALDWIN, PLYMOUTH, GE, EMD, TRAINMASTER and BUDD, from a broad selection of railroads located throughout the country. There are over 250 pieces of rolling stock and specialty cars. An array of buildings and scenery along with custom made brass and die cast bridges. Large diaramas depicting logging operations and several custom built buildings along with a large amount of model making materials and supplies. A large collection of railroad magazines and books along with other railroad related items including vintage advertising will be included in the sale.
