Articles include: New England tiger maple furniture (Queen Anne highboy), secretary, dining ensemble, canopy beds, mounted game fish, nautical china, painted Chinese panels, the contents of the main house and three Outbuildings.
Sterling silver will be strong in this sale, with 19th C. pieces by Creighton Bros., Jacobi & Jenkins, Gorham, Tiffany, and the largest collection S. Kirk & Son repousse that we have ever sold.
The auction also features many sporting paintings by the following artists: George Armfield (2), John Ferneley, Sr. (2), William Hayes, John F. Herring, Sr. (2), Francis Sartorius the elder.
Textiles include Caucasian rugs, embroideries and samplers dating from 1775.
