SUMMARY:William Smith - Annual Sporting Live Auction
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday October 28th at 10:00am\nwsmithauction.com\nPlainfield\, NH \nwilliam_smith \nPreview Monday October 26th and Tuesday October 27th from 10:00am to 4:00pm\nFeaturing the unrivaled trophy mount collection of Grand Slam and Magnificent Seven holder\, Roger Donahue\, plus over 200 collectible firearms including antique rifles\, hunting firearms\, and items of historical significance.\nRoger Donahue grew up in rural Vermont hunting small game and whitetail deer with his father. He would eventually shoot a total of nine black bears\, two of which qualified for the Boone & Crockett record books. In 1997\, Roger shot the second largest Canada moose in New Hampshire. In 2003\, Roger shot a 10’2″ Alaska Kodiak Island brown bear. Roger’s hunting destinations include all of North America\, areas of England and Scotland\, the southern half of Africa (where he rescued two indigenous cultures from a rampaging hippopotamus)\, and New Zealand. The enormous price associated with the permits required to hunt much of this famed trophy collection promotes the preservation of these animals and the cultures surrounding them. In addition\, no expense was spared in the mounting of these trophied examples\, The artistry\, subject\, pose\, habitat\, and motion are unparalleled\, and this Election is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any collector.
