BOSTON, MASS. – ACME Fine Art’s exhibition of American Modernist paintings, which opens March 29, includes highlights from recent acquisitions and an important group of works by noted figurative expressionists George McNeil, Robert Beauchamp and Anthony Vevers.
The figurative expressionist paintings selected for the show were painted between 1935 and 1990 and were chosen to highlight the emotional depth and sensitivity of the artists.
Also included in the show will be canvases by Peter Busa, Lawrence Kupferman, Joseph Solman, Jo Cain, Leo Manso, Robert Preusser, Julio de Diego, Agnes Weinrich, and E. Ambrose Webster.
