Flamingo Promotions has cancelled the Delaware Books and Ephemera Show that was scheduled for Sunday, November 11.
The reason for the show’s cancellation is a personal one, according to John and Tina Bruno of Flamingo Promotions. “We are in the process of moving the business and ourselves from Long Island to New Hampshire,” said John Bruno.
Because the Brunos are “major collectors” in addition to antiques show promoters, Bruno explained, they are using a mover who specializes in antiques and delicate items. Unfortunately, the only date they could secure the firm’s moving services before Christmas was the weekend of the Delaware book fair. “So, we are forced to cancel it,” said Bruno.
Unaffected are Flamingo Promotions’ Great Doll, Toy & Memorabilia Show in Massapequa, N.Y., November 18 and its Jewelry & Personal Accessories Show on December 8 in Manhasset, N.Y.
Bruno added that the Delaware Books and Ephemera Show will be back for two editions next year †in mid-June and mid-November.
