LONDON — The Victoria and Albert Museum produced a short video detailing their extensive collection of historical through contemporary furniture. The video speaks to both the historical background and stylistic attributes, as well as restoration requirements, of a 1340s Dutch painted casket, a William Burges washstand, a finely crafted writing cabinet for Augustus III, an Eileen Gray lacquered screen and contemporary pieces from Ron Arad and Gareth Neal.
