A cast stone-type garden statue of Saint Fiacre was reported stolen from the backyard of a home here between December 22 and January 1.
The statue depicts the patron saint of gardeners/gardening and dates to about 1900‱925. It measures about 36 inches tall and its surface is well-aged and weathered; no paint, but with much mustard colored lichen from its many years standing in New England gardens.
