CHESTER SPRINGS, PENN. — Gillian B. Wiederseim of Chester Springs and Cape May, N.J., died at the age of 60 on February 7 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Jill, as she liked to be called, was a business partner with her husband, Theodore E. Wiederseim 3rd, managing Wiederseim Associates, Inc, an antiques auction and appraisal firm in Chester Springs.
Jill was a graduate of Downingtown (Penn.) High School and Bennett College in Millbrook, N.Y., where she majored in fashion design. Jill loved gardening, cooking, needlework, antiques, country-western music and travel. Jill also loved Cape May, where she and Ted purchased a Victorian home in the Historic District in 2013. Under Jill’s gifted eye, the historic gem was transformed back to its former glory, and she took great delight in hosting and entertaining family and friends.
Jill was the daughter of the late Rachel S. Brogan and is survived by her father, John E. Brogan, also of Chester Springs, her husband Theodore, her brother Benjamin Brogan, eight nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends who will miss her dearly.
