NORWALK, CONN. — Go behind the scenes of one of the Norwalk Historical Society’s new exhibits, “Norwalk Collects: Celebrating Four Historic Collections,” with guest curator Elizabeth Pratt Fox on Saturday, March 5, at 2 pm. The event will take place at the new Norwalk Historical Society Museum.
Pratt Fox will provide visitors with an insider’s look at life behind the exhibit —the planning process that went into curating the exhibit, how the objects were selected to tell a specific story and never-before-told stories about some of the rare pieces included in the exhibit. A question and answer session will conclude the tour.
The museum is at 141 East Avenue. Parking is available at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue. The museum is located next to the Norwalk Health Department, in the red brick house with blue double front doors. Tickets are $10. Limited tickets are available, purchase tickets online at norwalkhistoricalsociety.org.
For information, email info@norwalkhistoricalsociety.org or call 203-846-0525. If there is inclement weather, the tour will be rescheduled for Sunday, March 6, at 2 pm.
