NEW YORK CITY — Leading Swann Galleries’ June 20 Pride sale — and setting a record for the artist in the process — was Peter Hujar’s “David Wojnarowicz: Manhattan-Night (III),” which sold for $106,250 to a private collector bidding on the phone. It had been estimated at $15/25,000 and saw competition from no less than four phone bidders. The sale totaled $942,943 and was 73 percent sold by lot. Prices include buyer’s premium.
