EASTON, MD. — Setting a world auction record for the maker at Guyette and Deeter’s November 9–10 auction, a rare Ward Brothers humpback style pintail drake made in the early 1920s attained $201,250, including the buyer’s premium.
The annual fall decoy auction conducted at the Talbot County Community Center totaled $1.8 million that saw 33 lots bring five-figure prices.
