Dear Friends and Family:
Gail’s heart stopped May 27, 2011, at 1:50 am. She requested to be cremated and her ashes scattered among flowers. Her family requested the private ceremony to take place on her birthday August 20, 2011.
Gail always said, “I’m in the business of creating smiling faces. When people buy an antique from me, they smile knowing they have found a beautiful lifelong treasure.”
Her legacy lives on as Gail’s memorial funds the inspiring work of the Smile Train. Yes, the Smile Train surgically removes a barrier called cleft lip from a child’s face and replaces it with a beautiful smile plus a twinkle of joy in the child’s eyes called hope.
I invite you to generously support the largest cleft charity in the world knowing that Gail supported them during life and now beyond. Please visit Gail’s web page at http://support.smiletrain.org/goto/gailensingerporter .
You may know Gail as an antique dealer, a friend, a loving family member, or as the Energizer Bunny with her boundless energy and love of life. I was blessed to call her my wife, the happiest nine years and two months of my life. Our wedding vows express who she is for me: “&⁉ create the possibility of living in a world overflowing with romance, laughter, and love. I am honored that you choose me as your playmate, your dance partner and your confidant to share the gift of life with&”
Blessings,
Richard Porter
