LITCHFIELD, CONN. — Litchfield County Auctions’ October 12 sale was led by a Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze bodhisattva that fetched $96,875, including the buyer’s premium.
The figure in a seated position on a lotus base, soared over its $2/3,000 estimate. It came from a Newtown, Conn., collector and measured 9 inches tall.
