WATERLOO, IOWA — In the span of three days, May 13-15, Rich Penn Auctions offered nearly 2,100 lots of fresh-to-the-market lots in an unreserved auction that included lots from the estates of Ron Dugan, Jerry Castagna, Walt Oswald, Howard Simmering and Mary Jane Kaufman. Dubbed the “Collector Trove” auction, the sale saw strong prices across the board, achieving $13,530 for an End of Day glass onionskin marble (shown), and $9,840 for a Creators Model D horse-drawn popcorn wagon with 1964 renovation. Prices quoted include the buyer’s premium. A more extensive sale review will appear in a future issue.
